Strengths
I recently discovered a fascination for the Interaction Design field because it gives me the chance to observe graphic and product design from another point of view. My main strengths are in concept generation and visualizing ideas through handmade illustrations and draft sketches.During my work experience, especially the collaboration with Studio Fludd, I learned to interact and work with other people, sharing knowledge and skills. I like developing the graphic style of projects such as mobile interfaces, and exploring physical interactions. I also like making physical things as in the Dandylight project. I’m strong with Adobe Suite CS5 especially with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I have some experience in using Premier. I had also a basic approach in programming with Processing, Arduino for mobile and physical prototyping. I have a basic knowledge of web design with HTML, CSS.
Here is my CV.

Portfolio
Hard to be a Hobo - A guide for hobos in Venice
Semifinalist in the Interaction Mobile category of the Adobe Design Achievement Awards 2012
This prototype for a mobile application allows people to find experiences in an unusual way and gives the chance to encounter others along different paths around the city. We decided to work for hobos: people who make the choice to live a wandering life. They don’t belong to a fixed physical place and live from hand to mouth looking for inner growth.

Dandylight – An ice-breakin game
Project presented at Maker Faire Rome 2013
Finalist with third prize at Metalworks European 2013 Innovation Prize
Dandylight is a prototype of an interactive and biomorphic device for a public space in Venice. It connects people who shares the same space. It is a network of objects, a physical interface inspired by the beauty of nature, that lets people engage in a playful communication made of lights.

Millimography - Making visible the invisible
Everybody knows Venice for its large scale flows and movements: high water, cruise lines, crowds of people. But every second, under the surface of the city, a thousand millimetric movements are taking place. The city and its lagoon move and change shape constantly, unnoticed by passers-by. Millimography is a prototype for a smartphone application whose aim is to make visible these invisible changes, allowing residents and visitors to inhabit the city in a new and more informed way.

Elsew(h)ere – A ghost experience
Elsew(h)ere is an interactive installation that tells a ghost story. What by day is a common, old, forgotten public phone, at night becomes the meeting point between the living and a person long dead. A ghost hidden inside the public phone tries to attract passers-by towards the handset to hear a snatch of her story. Several elements combine to create a rich experience: the public phone communicates with the smartphone people have in their pockets, establishing a dialogue between the two which invites the user to take part.
The whole framework for the project is a huge archive of over 10,000 ordinary people’s diaries that Telecom Italia has been collecting over the past twenty years. Our focus is on intimate thoughts about communication or difficulties in communicating, the red thread joining private, public, past and present.
(team: Sabina Begović, Ruggero Castagnola, Valeria Sanguin)
DUO – a supportive tool for couple counselor
Duo project is part of the psychological counselling system for couples. Its goal is the improvement of dysfunctional communicative situations. It’s a system composed by tablets and smartphones that working interconnected allow the councelor to get closer to the couple itself. Thanks to a series of specific functions, partners can easily record events and emotions related to episodes of ineffective communication. This information stored and shared, will allow the councelor to examine the dynamics of the couple both during the week and from a more intimate point of view. In this way the councelor may use a tool, based on “four-side square” model, to help the couple in developing an widen gaze on how to dialogue with the partner.
